Greetings SHAPE Colorado Community –
I hope this message finds you safe and healthy! As summer is nearing an end, I hope that you have had some time to relax and recharge ahead of what is sure to be an exciting school year.
The purpose of this note is to inform our community that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 SHAPE Colorado Convention that was scheduled to be October 8-10, 2020.
In consultation with the venue and public health guidelines, we have determined that we cannot safely host the high-quality convention that you deserve and to which you have become accustomed. The Convention Committee is in the process of exploring virtual options and will keep you posted as we know more! We will most definitely find some way to connect as an organization in October – especially so that we can celebrate our amazing award winners!
Remember that we are HERE for you as we continue to navigate the unknown! The Professional Development Committee has been busy planning virtual roundtables, and the Advocacy Committee has prepared some great resources for you to access and use in your schools.
