SHAPE Colorado Lobby Day!
Get involved in advocating for physical education! Join us on our first of two Lobby Days,
March 7 at the Colorado State Capitol. Come meet your state legislators in person and learn
to effectively convey our important message about HB 1161 and the Quality Physical
community.
Our advocacy actions influence decision makers, and will affect student success for years to
come. SHAPE Colorado Lobby Day generates enthusiasm and camaraderie among

9:00-9:30 Brief meet at the Capitol
9:30-11:00 In partnership with SHAPE Colorado
and SHAPE Colorado lobbyist Kayla Tibbles, participants will meet with
their legislators and share the impact of physical education on students
and communities, urging support for HB 1161.
11:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-1:30 Debrief and prep for hearing
1:30-??? SHAPE Colorado testifies to the House Education Committee, in support of HB 1161!
