The SHAPE Colorado board members held a business meeting on Saturday to continue our work serving health and physical education teachers across Colorado. We also took time to congratulate outgoing President Pam Rogers for leading her final meeting serving as President.
Pam Rogers has been a member of SHAPE Colorado for over ten years and has served in various leadership positions throughout our organization. During her time as president, she has overseen the organization’s growth and expansion.
“Pam Rogers has been a tireless advocate for health and physical education,” said SHAPE Colorado Executive Director Terry Jones. “She has made a significant impact on the lives of countless teachers in Colorado, and we are grateful for her service.”
In her remarks, Pam Rogers thanked the board and staff of SHAPE Colorado for their support. She also reflected on her time as president, saying that it had been an “honor and a privilege” to serve the organization.
“I am proud of what we have accomplished together,” she said. “SHAPE Colorado is a strong and vibrant organization, and I know it will continue to thrive in the years to come.”
Pam Rogers will be recognized for her service during the awards ceremony at the SHAPE Colorado Convention in October. She is succeeded by Becky Wylie.
“I am excited to build on the foundation that Pam has laid,” said Rebecca. “SHAPE Colorado continues to advocate for quality health and physical education for all of our students”
The SHAPE Colorado board of directors is confident that Becky Wylie will be a strong leader for the organization. They look forward to working with her to continue SHAPE Colorado’s mission of promoting health and physical education.
