Teaching and Learning CoLabs coming to a place near you! Register today!
This summer, teachers and leaders are invited to attend the Teaching and Learning CoLabs, a new kind of no-cost event that brings together stakeholders from districts, higher education, professional teaching and other educational organizations, and the Colorado Department of Education. Colorado teachers will have access to interactive professional development sessions to support high quality instruction in English Language Arts, Social Studies,Mathematics, Science, Health, and Physical Education Performing and Visual Arts. The dates and host sites for this summer’s CoLabs are:
- Thursday, June 1: Grand Junction, hosted by Colorado Mesa University Register Here to view the CMU Colab schedule
- Wednesday, June 14: Greeley, hosted by the University of Northern Colorado Register Here to view the UNC Colab schedule
- Friday, June 23: Pueblo, hosted by CSU-Pueblo Register Here to view the CSU-P Colab schedule
Schools are encouraged to attend a CoLab in teams, with teachers representing multiple grades and/or content areas. Teachers will receive certificates of attendance for 8 contact hours. Focus content areas for the 2023 Teaching and Learning CoLabs include English language arts, health and physical education, mathematics, science, and computer science, visual and performing arts.
