The Colorado Department of Education is bringing Dr. Mike Messerole to present at our convention in October! Dr. Messorole attended the University of Northern Colorado and is currently a professor at University of Nebraska Omaha.
Dr. Michael Messerole is the Assistant Director for the School of Health and Kinesiology
at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He has over 35 years teaching experience at the P-
12 and post-secondary levels in physical education and adapted physical education. He
has presented numerous workshops locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition, Michael is a
consultant with Special Olympics North America and co-authored the Unified Physical Education
Resource manual. Michael is a dynamic individual who makes learning fun by making sure ALL students
are included and enjoying success while still being challenged. He believes that Physical Education
Teachers are the key to inclusion in schools.
