Professional Development Opportunity – WellTrain Technology Workshop 11/23 & 11/30

Technology and Virtual Learning for Elementary/Middle/High PE

How do I provide meaning instruction through Virtual Learning for my students? How do I know my students are actually doing the work? What does data collection and assessment look like? There are many different technology tools to use, where do I start or how can I make better use of them? If you have thought about one or more of these questions then this workshop is for you! The focus of this workshop is interacting with, gathering proof of student work and assessing cognitive understanding by leveraging the different basic technology tools that are available. Technology Tools that will be covered include Office 365, Google, Padlet, Quizizz, Playposit and hosting live classes. Once you have a handle on those technology tools, the next level is to focus on creating higher ordering thinking cognitive assessments, student virtual collaboration, content specific creation and student designed learning. There will also be time dedicated to discussions on how Physical Education and Health will need to adjust to what the future of education holds.
